Bob Romijnders Architectuur + Interieur was asked to make the design for the renovation of a 90s villa. The purpose of the renovation was to create a spectacular contemporary home through an extension and a new layout. Although the house has a nice size and the right proportions, it is a typical 90s house, with all its features. The home therefore deserves, from the inside and the outside, a metamorphosis that fits in with this time. The applied 90s details are therefore reduced and replaced by contemporary, stylish accents and materials. An extra high-quality space at the rear of the house is also highly desirable. As a result, life moves to this side and the garden becomes more involved with living inside. Both inside and outside, a mix of tough materials and clean lines is implemented. In addition, a new, sleek extension is being realized with white stucco tires and a black zinc roof with thick tires around the window frames as a contrast.
Inside mix between cast floor, blue steel as hard materials and wood and upholstery as warm materials.
The pool house gets the same design language as the house, but then in black zinc in combination with light wood. This makes the trees behind the pool house stand out even better.
