The industrial character of the Vasim made this office project for web hosting company Rootnet both unique and challenging. The space is steeped in history, demonstrating how the old and new can merge naturally. After a rich industrial past, the area has been transformed into an inspiring workplace where creativity flows freely.
The elongated upper floor of the North building offers a panoramic view of the iconic Nijmegen bridge, ‘De Oversteek.’ A bunker-like structure in the center divides the workspace and houses functional facilities such as storage. The robust, unpolished character of the space has been preserved, providing the perfect canvas for the carefully designed interior.
The interior is composed of a mix of bold, refined materials, high-quality custom-made furniture, atmospheric upholstery, and an abundance of greenery.
