This modern family villa is situated in a fantastic location with unobstructed views of the surrounding nature. The design features a rectangular floor plan and offers sight lines throughout the home and towards the garden. The use of sleek horizontal brickwork on the ground floor and black vertical aluminum cladding creates tension and synergy.
The villa is more closed off on the street side compared to the rear. Upon entering, one is welcomed into a spacious hallway. The back side is adorned with robust stone columns and large glass facades, allowing residents to fully enjoy the open views from the living areas and bedrooms.
Climate control is an important aspect of the design, with large overhangs of over one meter to shield against summer heat. Sloped roofs, separated by a light well running the full length of the upper floor, contribute to the sustainable character of the home. The villa is equipped with the latest installation technologies, and the smart design of the overhangs enhances its sustainability.

The powerful, horizontal lines of the building are accentuated by the handcrafted, elongated Kolumba brick from Petersen Tegl
During the design process, there was close collaboration with a landscape architect, allowing the garden to blend with the living space
The spacious glass facades blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, allowing you to fully enjoy the surrounding nature
The upper floor is divided into two separate sections, connected by a glass light well that ends in an elongated facade, creating a clear sight line and allowing abundant natural daylight to flow into the home
