The design of this countryside new-build home demonstrates how architecture and landscape design can seamlessly blend. It incorporates modern accents while maintaining a strong connection to the natural surroundings.
We began with a detailed study of the site’s massing and layout. This led to the creation of a central courtyard, serving as the focal point of the home. Here, surrounded by the serene rural landscape, there is a seamless connection between all the structures. The home harmoniously integrates with its natural environment, featuring a design that gives the impression of floating terraces above the landscape.
The clear construction pattern ensures the home is practical to build. Inside, the spatial experience is dominated by wooden trusses, while the living area boasts an impressive ceiling height of 5.5 meters, creating a sense of space and grandeur.
The choice of natural materials, such as clay plaster and wood, is complemented by minimalist details like sleek window frames, adding a timeless elegance to the design. With two separate buildings – one for living and one for sleeping – this architecture achieves a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
